Since 1982 the BRSS has hosted the Region 4 South Contest,
during the third week of September each year.The task
highlights of this regional include the first 300k ridge task in
1982, the "Redlining the Ridge" 500 km task in 1984 and the 1000
km task in 1990. These may be the task highlights, but the
mystique of the Region 4 South Contest has also been enhanced by
the hospitality and dedication of the members of the Blue Ridge
Soaring Society.

September 15th - 20nd
(Practice Days Sept. 13th & 14th)
In September the Blue Ridge Soaring Society will host it's
Annual Fall Regional Contest.  Due to the size of our facility we
must limit our field to 42 entrants.
Classes: 15m, 18m and Standard
Contest dates are September 15 thru 20, with official
practice day Sunday, September 14. Please be sure to submit
your application prior to the July 19
preferential deadline.
