After a last minute task change we launched just as the first small cu clouds appeared on a 3 hour AAT. Conditions were generally very good with climbs on task to over 6000 ft, but the third sector was badly affected by high cover and there were some landouts there. Other pilots closely inspected the ground in that area before climbing away and returning west to better conditions.
Jake Brattle was once again our day winner - and clearly not much affected by his 4 year break from competition flying.
