FAVAV informs to participating pilots of the 59th National Gliding Championship and 3rd FAI South American Gliding Championship, that on Saturday there will be mandatory activities to participants, according to the following details:
Day: Saturday, January 7th:
9 AM to 12 PM: weighing of gliders for those who have not done it previously; we make clear that prior weighing is mandatory and the Team that does not comply with this would not be allowed to fly.
9 AM to 12 PM: registrations for those who have not previously done so;
3 PM: Zero pilot briefing: first mandatory briefing for pilots, where all participants will be aknowledged of all sporting rules, air traffic and safety, and all doubts will be evacuated;
6: 30 PM: Opening Ceremony at the 25 de Mayo Plaza of Adolfo Gonzalez Chaves city, where all Teams are invited to participate.
20: 15 PM: Championship Opening Ceremony at the Otto Ballod Gliding Club with a delegations parade.
Days: January 8th through 20th :
10: 30 AM: Pilots briefing (briefing will be held every day, regardless of that activity carried out, flying or not flying);
12: 30 PM: first launch (the time for the first launch may be modified by the Championship Authorities).
Day: Friday, January 20th:
8: 30 PM Closing dinner and Awards Ceremony for the winners;
