Central Plateau Soaring Competition 2019

Taupo, Neuseeland,   3. November 2019 – 10. November 2019

Day 6

It's a beauty at last! The weather predictions were not terribly optimistic, but the day got better and better, and again the task proved achievable, but not easy, which I guess must be about right. David Jensen just pipped Brett Hunter for the day win, but combined with yesterday's result Brett will get the last word for the overall title, with Christian Derold coming in second and David third. Well done guys.

Unfortunately the forecast is pretty grubby for tomorrow so many are heading home. The prizegiving dinner has been moved forward from tomorrow to tonight.

Thanks to all who attended and all who helped, plus those who held the fort at home.

We didn't have a lot of gliding, but we had a lot of fun, and that's really what it's all about.

See you next time.
