There is a stream of gliders calling 10km out, at the same time, we have a queue of aircraft ready to launch to make the most of the evening wave.

The start gate is open
We have launched the grid and the start line is open. A number of gliders have started straight away, starts height around 6500 - 7000 feet so far. DTG and JF have both landed back for a relight.

Height Gain Results
The wave set up yesterday afternoon before the rain arrived.14 gliders took a launch, with most making it above 5000 feet. Mike Stephens won the day with a high point of 8,591' resulting in a gain of 5,217' The day prize is your sir!

Having cancelled the Cross Country task for the day, a number of gliders have taken a launch and contacted the wave.

I typed too quickly
The comp director has just scrubbed the Cross Country competition for today. Local soaring and height climbing is available, last launch is at 18:00. The time for Breifing tomorrow will be confirmed as soon as I have it, I'm off to watch the F1.
