Day 1
Morning All, Our first briefing was at 09:00 this morning and the 25th UK Mountain Soaring Championship is open. Its currently raining cats and dogs, and has been raining all night. A re-brief will be held a 12:00 in the hope that once the rain clears later on it will be soarable. In the mean time, we are off to watch the start of the AJ Bell Tour of Britain which passes by the airfield, finishing at Glenshee Ski Centre

25th UK Mountain Soaring Championship
Doesn't time fly when you are having fun! This year will will see the start of the 25th UK Mountain Soaring Championship on Sunday 4th September. The cross-country and height gain competitions will be running all week, with all the task, scores and my witty banter published on Soaring Spot and once again we have a fabulous list of sponsors who support the running of the competition and our lovely trophys are up for grabs at the end of the week.
