Ieri verso le 18:00 è arrivato l’allarme da un PLB alla direzione di gara: era del pilota Edoardo Lastrico. E’ stata subito attivata una efficientissima catena dei soccorsi: SAR, Forestale, Soccorso Alpino, Carabinieri, Vigili. Entro la mezzanotte sono riusciti a trovarlo. Era dentro l’aliante su degli alberi, a sud del lago di Polverina, vicino a Colfiorito, sul confine tra Marche e Umbria. Adesso è all’ospedale di Camerino per accertamenti. Il pilota ha riportato una piccola emorragia interna e un lieve stato confusionale.
Era stata una buona giornata di volo con le basi dei cumuli che arrivavano a 3000m nelle ore più calde, le termiche avevano bei valori di salita, erano secche e spesso turbolente specie dal Gorzano verso nord. I costoni portavano bene, con vento da sud-sud/ovest. Ma come si sa, le condizioni di veleggiamento variano spesso e repentinamente.
Anche oggi la meteo è stata molto positive con le basi a 2500/3000m, termiche fino a 5m/s e vento da ovest-nord/ovest. E’ stato fatto prevalentemente volo di termica.
Yesterday at 18:00pm the competition direction recived the alarm
from PLB of the pilot Edoardo Lastrico. It
was immediately activate a very
efficient rescue chain: SAR, Forest
Ranger, Mountain Rescue, Police. By
midnight they managed to find him.
He was inside the glider on the trees, south
of Polverina lake, near Colfiorito, on the
border between Marche and Umbria. The pilot is now at
the hospital of Camerino for some
checks; he reported only a small
internal bleeding.
It was been a good day to fly with the bases
of the cumulus at 3000m during the hottest hours, termicals had good values climb, thermics
were dry and turbulent from Gorzano to the north.
Ridge soaring was possible with wind from South-South/West.
But, as we know, soaring’s conditions are very variable.
