fatraglide09 is 9th year of international spring gliding competition focused predominately on mountain flying in northern Slovakia, Poland and Czech republic area. Set in first days of May it promises great spring weather and breathtaking mountain flying sceneries over the snow covered tops of Tatra and Fatra mountains. During the years a lot of National team members took part; pilots from Slovakia, Czech republic, Poland, Germany, Denmark, UK, Norway and Romania experienced our competition and we hope there will be even more international participants this year.
Next year's WGC in Standard, Club and World class will be in Prievidza, just 40 km from Martin and this year's EGC in Nitra - 15m, 18m and Open class is just about 100 km from Martin, so the competition area will be virtually the same. Any better training opportunity you can imagine for your podium attack?
