NZ Club Class Nationals

Taupo, New Zealand,   18 January 2025 – 26 January 2025

A Good Start

Taupo turned on some beautiful weather for the start of the Club Class Nationals, and we have had two really good days of racing.

Sunday - day one - was a cracker, and a good start to the week as a follow-up to a practise day on Saturday which showed up the usual "rusty spots" . There was only one landout on Sunday, and that was only a few hundred metres from the airfield after a severe area of unexpected sink!

Monday, day two, was also good, but more challenging than Sunday. It had everyone working hard, and there were a few more landouts, but overall a good day's AAT.

Today, Tuesday is overcast with thick middle cloud so although flyable will not be taskable. Other activities are planned. Watch this space!
