Friday 27th a scrub at last
Yet another contest day with a task out towards Finmere. More risk of showers today so the turns are 'showery sectors' to allow pilots to stay dry...... And then .....
A couple of relights and then everyone started sinking. The day was scrubbed 2 minutes before the start gate opened. By 4pm we had rain and a big grey sky towards Henley. Not a good sky for anyone coming back to Booker. Competitors glad to be de-rigged before the rain.
Day 6
Everyone had a good time yesterday with a task out to Naseby and Grafham Water. Today we will be shower dodging as there is a risk of thunderstorms. A task has been set - watch this space.

Day 4 Updates

Window of good weather expected, task set.
Met man is expecting cloudbase to go up this afternoon. A 181k HDT task has been set and gliders are gridded.
