Day One was indeed a washout, and unfortunately Day Two is not looking much better.

The nasty weather that has flooded the West Coast of both islands is moving across the North Island and making  gliding impossible. We have cancelled Day Two (Monday) and will assess conditions for the rest of the week tomorrow.
