Good afternoon,

The pilots are all up in the air for competition day 3. The 10 tow planes are doing a great job in bringing everybody up as quick as possible. As you have seen on the tasks for today there are 2 AAT tasks one for 15 and one for 18 m. They both fly for 3 hours. All other classes have left for polygons.

 Yesterday was specially difficult for 18 m. class. One of the pilots mentioned that the TP was too far to the N. Reason a lot of out- landings in this class.All other classes had less problems and most of them arrived home with a smile though it was still another difficult day. Very unusual for Rieti. But the new air mass should arrive soon.

15 m class gliders will start over the next days with the Grand Prix Starting system.The pilots had that request and competition director Giorgino had no problem with it, as this kind of start was authorized already longer ago here for Rieti.
