The first pilots have started landing back. Reports are that the weather was much better than yesterday so high speeds are expected. A small storm has developed to the east of the airfield.

The grid has been launched and most of the pilots have started their task. The weather seems to be better than yesterday with cloud bases expected to be around 5000ft AGL. The day started late, so all classes will be flying task B.

The weather for today looks a bit better than yesterday. The pilots have been briefed and are busy putting their aircraft on the grid. First launch is expected to be at 12:00 midday.

PN has landed out. All other competing pilots have returned safely to Orient. Open class will have a scoring day, even though no pilots completed the task. More updates tomorrow!

Day 1 has been cancelled for the club class and 15m class with all pilots in those classes landing safely back at Orient. Some pilots in the open class have landed back at Orient safely, however MB, 162, BAT, KG and PN are still on task.

All gliders have launched. There have been no re-lights yet, however it looks to be a challenging day with the pilots reporting good lift up to 2500 ft AGL.
