After yesterday's wet rest day (the first rain for some 6 weeks), this morning's rain band quickly moved away to the East leaving us in a cool blustery westerly airflow. The pilots were set a 3 hour AAT aligned with the wind and they made the most of it with some very fast flights along the cloudstreets. Wave interference made the day a little challenging at times for some but most competitors finished with just a few landouts. Johnny Roberts had the biggest smile at the end of the day. Us on the finish line also had big smiles  when everybody was safely on the ground and we could get out of the cold wind.

We are looking forward to another good day tomorrow.
