The 29th UK Mountain Soaring Championship starts on Sunday 6th September 2026 at Deeside Gliding Club, Aboyne.

This UKMSC comprises of two seperate competitions running in parallel, the first is a traditional cross-country racing format with the second focussed on height gain.

All competitors are automatically entered into both, with the tasks, scores and updates published here on Soaring Spot.

Again we have a very generous list of sponsors and many volunteers who support the running of the competition. plus our lovely trophys will be presented at the end of the week.

We are all ready for another great year, registration will be open from 14:00 on Saturday, the welcome BBQ on Saturday night from 17:00 and the bar will be open as usual.
