The Jonker Sailplanes UK Club Class Nationals start tomorrow with the promise of some good flying weather for the first days.
Jonker Sailplanes is the headline sponsor for this event with 42 entrants competing in various older glider types. Handicapped scoring is used to adjust for the different relative performance of the different glider types. Being relatively low cost, Club Class is the entry level National Championships for many young up and coming pilots who will hopefully one day aspire to upgrade to a Jonker Sailplanes sailplane type.
