We have to accept that sometimes we are the pigeon and sometimes we are the statue.
This week Mother Nature has reminded us that she is the one that decides, and right now we are the statue, getting rained on very solidly.
Forecast conditions do not indicate any possibility of task flying for the next week so we have made the hard call to cancel the Northern Regionals for 2021/22.
Bugger.
Day One was indeed a washout, and unfortunately Day Two is not looking much better. The nasty weather that has flooded the West Coast of both islands is moving across the North Island and making gliding impossible. We have cancelled Day Two (Monday) and will assess conditions for the rest of the week tomorrow. C'est la vie.

Almost there! Weather is not great, but flyable, which is more than we can say for tomorrow! Day 1 is looking to be a washout, so has been cancelled already. We will look at Monday's conditions tomorrow and make a decision then.
