At the morning meeting, the early forecasts showed almost zero chance of a soaring day, so the meeting was reconvened for 11 AM to review the updated forecasts. They also showed no chance of a taskable day and the day was cancelled.
Around noon the sky cleared and some cu started to appear, but they were all low around 2000 AGL and by 1430 the rain started at the field.
