Hello and welcome in Rieti,
We start with competitionday 2 today! Yesterday was a real battle with the unexpected tough wind. Pilots really had to struggle. But as winner in club class Paul Wijsman said; "It was worth the fight".
Giorgio Galetto came in bringing his logger with a smile. "It was tough" , he said " but some parts were good. The north was blue, the south still cloudy from the passing cold front , which stopped us to fly on the first competition day, but west of the track was ok!"
All the great looking clouds were " damaged" by the strong wind up to 20 kt.
Today looks good though there will be less clouds then yesterday. Look for updates about today on www.rietigliding.it in the Ritz Corner on the home page.
