Day 2 gave us a few landouts and engine starts. Cloud bases and thermal tops were at low level for most of the day.
There was some exciting close racing for those that made it around the task.
Tuesday is predicted to rain, so we will pick up again on Wednesday for Day 3
We were hopeful that conditions would allow a task day today. After launching 3 gliders, we decided conditions were not suitable for a Grand Prix start because cloud base was only about 2000 ft above ground. Some club members and competition pilots enjoyed some good recreational flying after the day was cancelled. Better luck tomorrow!
