Bulletin 2:

  1. Apologies – previous Bulletin and Entry Form stated Compulsory Briefing would be on Sun. 11th, when in fact it will be on Sat. 10th December after the practice day flying.
  2. At this stage, only 4 entry forms have been received. A reminder that Entry fees will be considerably more expensive if you have not entered by 15th November latest. Pilots are also reminded that considerable planning and arrangements need to be organised – please advise if you are intending to compete.
  3. Keen and eager volunteers to assist with some of the tasks, in order to spread the load, will be welcomed.
  4. Competing pilots should preferably have their own crew member, if at all possible. Please ask around at your own Clubs if there any members who would be willing to be at the Nationals to assist both you and the organization.
  5. Gliders carrying water are advised that they may NOT dump water on the scale. They must go-around and join the queue again having dumped the water off the scale. The same weighing formula will be used as in previous years.
  6. Handicaps as previously approved and used.
  7. Requirements for the S.African licence validations for overseas competitors will be as last year. Overseas competitors will be advised what is needed on receipt of their Entry Form.
