The Aero-club of Bas-Armagnac is pleased to welcoming you for thesecond GrandPrix de Gascogne (GPG) that will take place in Nogaro,on May 2nd to 10th, 2008, counting for the official ranking ofall glider pilots in the world, the IGCPilot Ranking List (it is not aFAI SailplaneGrand Prix)

Nogaro isa small town in the heart of Gascony, in south-west France, homeland ofd\'Artagnan and his threeMusketeers, famous for its gastronomy, foie gras and its "Armagnac"brandy... and for its aeroclub ! The Grand Prix de Gascogneaims to be a major soaring event where high level pilots fromeverywhere who appreciate the South-West of France may meet each twoyears and fight together in a fierce but ever friendly atmosphere. 

The GPG rules involve \'regatta start\' and racingtasks, in which turn points are the same for everybody but gliders withlower handicap are allowed a greater turn point radius,therefore the first to cross the finish line is the winner !Depending of the number of entrants, there may be several classes, onthe same tasks but with a distinctstart time,  with both separateand combined rankings.
