This weekend's Gauntlet is going ahead with the option to fly a task tomorrow or Sunday (or both). There is no start time, so if you want an early launch, please ensure you get your name on the flying list early as club flying will continue as normal (i.e. no preference for Gauntleteers).

I will send out the day's task the night before. It should be possible to print yourself a copy from the clubhouse PC. The Cape Gauntlet is open to all CGC pilots. The tasks are designed to cater for those new to cross country flying, as well as AAT maximum distance for experienced XC pilots.

If you are unsure whether you are eligible to compete (cross country cleared etc), please consult an instructor. You may obviously also ask an instructor to take you along in a club twin (assuming a club ship is available). Please try to take part. This will be a lot of fun, all results will be published, and there is a Gauntlet trophy which will be awarded at the end of the Gauntlet season.

If possible, please indicate to me whether you plan to fly, so I can prepare the scoring template beforehand.
