What better way to welcome the New Gliding Year than with a podium finish! The NSW State Championships are being held at Lake Keepit Soaring Club from Saturday the 27th of February to Saturday the 5th of March in the classes of Club, Standard, 15m, 18m & Open.
First time competition pilots are welcome and indeed encouraged to compete in this friendly environment. Pilots in their first or second comp are permitted to compete in Club class, irrespective of glider type so why not expand your envelope?
Should getting time off work be a challenge, lay days are available and pilot pairs (shared flying) are welcome in both single and dual seaters so buddy up and blast off over Keepit’s uniquely varied terrain.
In recognition of the distractions of the silly season, the early bird discount has been extended to Jan 5th. More information and an online application form can be found at http://www.keepitsoaring.com/LKSC/index.php/comps/nsw-state-comps-2016
